Steven Massarsky letter

Post by reddog »

After I cut the coupons out of the first six Harbinger and sent them in, Shooter was fired. I waited and waited for #0 but it was not arriving. Thinking the entire Valiant world had shattered and not trusting Massarsky, I wrote and sent a letter asking what was going on. I obviously questioned whether or not they would honor the coupons. I got the above letter back, unsigned. Pretty enlightening. I just found it again buried in a box of art.

Did the letter come to you looking like it had already been through the war or is that just from being in storage? Part of me hopes it’s the former for funners.
Egad, a base tone denotes a bad age!

That, or showing is his true self. With two strong personalities at the helm in those early days, I wonder if that was a stressful environment to work under!
