VH1 TPBs?
So I have all the VH1 single issues, but now I'm working on the TPBs.
I have:
Unity Box Set
Shadowman
X-O
Magnus 1 & 2
Solar
Harbinger Blue Bird
Need to get:
Magnus vs Predator
What say you? Am I missing one?

Rai
Valiant Era
Solar has 2, Alpha & Omega and Second Death.
If you're not collecting variants, that's all.
Otherwise, there's a blue X-O, blue Rai, and Harbinger also has regular (black bird) and a 2nd printing.
Unity also has the two-volume Diamond Previews set.
Predator vs Magnus was a Dark Horse trade, and if you're searching online, Predator is first in the title.

Re: VH1 TPBs?
I have a question about the Solar Trades. I have both the "Alpha & Omega" and "Second Death" TPB's, but there is also a hard slipcover Solar listed. Is it just a fancy case version of the Alpha & Omega TPB, or is it a different collection?

From Greg’s guide: “Comments: Hardcover book of origin insert story from #1 - #10, with slipcase and poster.“
The HC contains all of the special insert pages that were inside issues 1-10, plus a poster that puts all the covers together.
Hope this helps!

And then there's the SIGNED edition...by Shooter; 2000 copies (!); numbered with COA.
(!) Imagine signing 2000 copies in a row!?!

Re: VH1 TPBs?
True, but the signed editions aren't Valiant products. They come from retailers/resellers who got artists/writers to sign later. The COAs mention the third-party companies.
The Diamond Previews Unity Trades (two volume) are official, but the others are not from Valiant.

You're right! I had read the thread about UNITY RED before and jumped to the wrong conclusion here.greg wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 8:59:45 am True, but the signed editions aren't Valiant products. The signed Harbinger trade was done by National Comic Services, Ltd.

Re: VH1 TPBs?
I was going to try to guess what company did those from memory. I could remember "National" and I wanted to say "National Something-Generic".
Catch-A-Star did several signed books (mostly comics, not trades), and a few of these "aftermarket signatures" even had commercials on HSN and QVC.

Re: VH1 TPBs?
I like those vintage novelty "COAs" from back in the day. That TPB was limited to 2000, which is almost laughable these days.
The last several years, there are these jokesters that get signatures at cons and create new COAs. I don't find these interesting beyond getting a signed book. However, the vintage ones were just as jokestery as these modern guys back in the day.

Re: VH1 TPBs?
I just did a little 'ol search on eBay for the Rai Blue (which I need) and there are some pretty high prices for it.
