I’ve never heard of them. Ha,ha.... they imply that they heard from a “source” that has been correct before. I doubt it.TheeBaldMoose wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 9:51:26 amAlmost as horrible of a site and just about as full of utter crap as Bleeding Cool! I have thought about printing up a t-shirt for work...
2"+ 2" = 5" (given sufficient tolerance)
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

Not to be a downer, but with Paramount owning the right for Harbinger, I think this would be a good thing.

I don't think you're being a downer. One cinematic Valiant universe would be pretty cool, but we shouldn't get our hopes up when the source of information is only a website that makes up everything they don't steal from another public source.maraxusofkeld wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 2:30:33 pm Not to be a downer, but with Paramount owning the right for Harbinger, I think this would be a good thing.
I think Bill Gates sending everyone who forwards an email $50 would be cool, too, but that "news" has been going around since 1993, even though this guy said his uncle knew a guy who got the check for $50, so it must be true.

Will be interesting to see if:
a. Sony sees Bloodshot as a loss due to box office performance and earnings.
b. Sony recognizes the COVID-19 impact on the industry, does NOT see Bloodshot as a loss, and looks to green-light a second film in an effort to recover from this epidemic.
(NOTE: I purchased a significant amount of Delta, Boeing, and Carnival stock this past week since I recognize the COVID-19 impact on these companies, and expect that later this year and in the near future people will likely fly and take cruises again).

That's smart. I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I've never bought stocks before so I wasn't doing anything but thinking. DirtBag, have the stock prices gotten low already?DirtbagSailor wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 2:24:47 pm

It makes sense to do it though. They hate Nerd Boss and this is a way to completely get him out of any of their projects.betterthanezra wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:05:38 pm This is the stupidest story I have read in awhile

Re: Bloodshot Rights going to Paramount with Vin Diesel Bloodshot character recast?
It still opened slightly below expectations though, which was for a $10 million opening, still will likely lose money, and relative to the box office opened second, not first.DirtbagSailor wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 2:24:47 pm Will be interesting to see if:

...
Assuming the studio gets 50-55% of the box office, and assuming a typical range for advertising of around 50% of the production budget, that suggests the movie needed to make as much as $120-125 million to break even on a $45 million budget.
Sony have shown ruthlessness in the past in what it saw as under-performing properties (Amazing Spider-man 2; worldwide gross of $709 million), so unless there is someone at Sony ready to fight hard for the movie I would guess they will direct their money into other directions, especially when they are developing a slate of Spidey-verse movies. Venom appears to have been very profitable, made for less than most if not all the MCU movies; I think Sony will be modelling around those levels, and another Bloodshot may seem like a much bigger risk by comparison.
