I "THINK" this is more the script of the movie put in a book format. I remember reading a few of these when I was younger. It outlines the movie pretty well, although I would suggest reading it after watching the movie.

I read Star Wars III before watching it, and it kind of ruined the movie for me. I knew all the little bits, saw from different perspectives, etc. It kind of let down the movie experience for me. But reading it afterwards (I think) would add to the experience.

But why published by TitanBooks and not Valiant? It's a good question
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

Because VEI is a comic book publisher who is barely capable of publishing 6 comics/month right now.

And TitanBooks has already published plenty of other movie novelizations, too, incl. Man of Steel an Batman for instance.

It's quite simple.

VEI doesn't have the man power and TitanBooks are the experts.

Will be interesting to read that’s for sure. Most movie novelizations are based off early versions of a movies script. So if the rumours are true they cut a Harada cameo it actually might still be in the book.

It's Titan Cooks, not Titan Comics, publishing the novelization. Considering the Faith novel is also being published by a different company, this is not surprising. Valiant is a comic company, not a book company.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I thought the idea was you had to have a movie to do a novelization. Is there a Faith Movie? ....to make a Faith Novel about the movie?

I thought the other Valiant movies were put on hold.

The Faith novel is not based on a movie; it's a young adult novel, supposedly the first in a series if it's going to be successful, I guess.

Obviously it's not in continuity and judging from the first announcement no other Valiant characters are featured/involved in "Faith: Taking Flight".

And yes, there is no other movie in the making as of now. Everybody's waiting to see how good and successful the (first) Bloodshot movie is going to be.

My point was publishing comics and publishing novels (or novelizations) are different things.

Which is kinda funny considering Titan also publishes comic books.

Is it the same company? Or just a book company that happens to have the same name as a comic company.

Titan Books (e.g. the novelizations) vs. Titan Magazines (e.g. The Walking Dead Official Magazine) vs. Titan Comics

All 3 belong to the Titan Publishing Group that is a sub of the Titan Entertainment Group.

Well shipping costs would be an issue if it was.

I'm pretty sure the company is not run by gods either

Yes, I found one on the interwebs.

Then I decided not to buy it and watch the movie first. Sometimes I make the most terrible life choices. #BadIdea

I'm looking at this like it did Assassins Creed and Warcraft, get everything I can because odds are this isn't happening again.
