I can't believe I'm agreeing with the guy who said, "I don't even know what Instagram is."

I usually agree with Chris, but i think he has unrealistic expectations about this movie. Valiant aren't going to only want 4900 hardcore Valiant fans to see it, they want to reach as many people as possible and make money.

I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but "only want 4900 hardcore fans to see it" sounds like how many actually watched the latest Hellboy movie with David Harbour and I read that it was very, very close to the source (canon, fan-favorite) material. The Chosen 1 wrote:I usually agree with Chris, but i think he has unrealistic expectations about this movie. That... uh... didn't work out well. That continuous flopping sound you hear may still be from Hellboy.

It's some kind of like Facebook but with pictures from camera phones?SwiftMann wrote:I can't believe I'm agreeing with the guy who said, "I don't even know what Instagram is."

"Instagram" still sounds like some kind of hot breakfast mush advertised by Wilford Brimley.Chiclo wrote:It's some kind of like Facebook but with pictures from camera phones?SwiftMann wrote:I can't believe I'm agreeing with the guy who said, "I don't even know what Instagram is."

That's my understanding of it as well. I really don't need to know more than that.Chiclo wrote:It's some kind of like Facebook but with pictures from camera phones?SwiftMann wrote:I can't believe I'm agreeing with the guy who said, "I don't even know what Instagram is."

Re: Bloodshot Movie Trailer Discussion
Good debate on the Bloodshot trailer and I agree with both of you in a way. Like many of us l, I’m sure, I’d want a film more closely related to the character we read about and on a personal level I’d rather watch a cult hit than a big genetic blockbuster. But, to DBS’ point, equally it’s important that this film makes money. I don’t watch Vin Diesal films but he has a built in audience which guarantees a level of success. My expectations were fairly low before seeing the trailer but now having seen it I’m pretty pleased with it. It’s not perfect but my hope is that if this film makes money then Bloodshot 2 can take more risks and lend more heavily on the books.
Dr Mirage sounds about as good as I expected, I might read or down the line if it’s on sale but C list character + unproven writer = no purchase from me at full price or unless the reviews from trusted sources are glowing

I really enjoyed the trailer. I thought it was great. One beef well two. Vin with out hair is hard for me to get passed. All his movies blent together and this could be another chapter for the vinaverse the universe vin flicks are in.
I am not going to get super excited because its sony dmg. But I trust Dinesh. I do plan to see this movie a few times in the theaters. I truly hope it does well and vin and Valiant fans flock to it.
