VEI
Armor Hunters: Harbinger 1 chromium cover SOLD
Valiant Comics FCBD 2012 SOLD
XO Manowar 1 second printing
XO Manowar 2 second printing
Thanks!

I would like to reopen this thread to ask everyone what they had for dinner.
I had steak and chicken with fried rice.

Giant garden salad = main course; banana ice cream = dessert.
Then watched "Distorted", a stupefyingly bland movie on Hulu which may have been a failed attempt to make a handful of Philip K. Dick-era SF concepts palatable to the Lifetime channel's audience. Also, distractingly, it was shot in Canada, but the story took place in the US when there was no need for it to take place in the US.

Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and cauliflower. I opened two boxes of pasta, then closed some up in tupperware for later after opening the fridge, but then closing the fridge so the closed up left over pasta would stay cold. Everything is closed now. Nothing is open.

Re: CLOSED
Went out 2 for 1 pizza at local pub last night, just around corner.
Couldn't get a seat.
Walked to another pub (the Isacc Newton), nothing really took my fancy so had a Newton Burger. Kids had : mac cheese, scampi and bangers and mash.
Wife had another burger (cannot remember the name).
Played darts with my sons for abit, and just relaxed ~ but then soccer match started to be broadcast ~ so left.
We have a lot of pubs around us and restaurants, usually go to places that don't have tv (but understand why they do)

I had three tacos carnitas. I made the carnitas last week, so finished them off. It was a “clean the fridge” night, so I put the rest of the sauerkraut on the tacos as well. Weird and delicious.

Re: CLOSED
I was watching a tv show where some characters were near a swimming pool in Africa. Markings near the edge of the pool indicated a depth of 1.6 m. Metrics! Who can know how deep this pool is? 5 inches? 30 feet? Why not just put something helpful, like 7 feet?

Re: CLOSED
I really wish pools had a complete dropoff between the depths, but instead, it's always a gradual slope, so it's always possible (even in metric) to start at the small number and walk slowly to the big number without any surprises.Chiclo wrote:I was watching a tv show where some characters were near a swimming pool in Africa. Just once, I'd like to see a pool that says "6 feet" (1.8288m, who has time to paint that on a pool?!?) which literally has a two foot drop-off from the "4 feet" area right beside it. That would be hilarious (all possible drownings avoided, of course).

Actually they should put the trough and trip of the waves in the pool, no matter how small the waves or ripples are.
