Valiant: booth #2101

This always ends up being my favorite show to attend and I hope to see and/or meet a bunch of you there.

I have passes for all 4 days. Have plans to get many, many sigs. Not sure I can make it all 4.

I am planning on trying to get a bunch of sigs, too. I have to fly home early on Sunday but that is okay.

I count 47 Valiant artists in the comics guest list. Super cool. Many of the usual suspects. I imagine there will be a few no shows, and a few more latecomers, as always. Surprised I don't see Templesmith on the list, as he said he was planning on attending.

I went to the ECCC site, and looked in artist alley. It has him located at Z-8. This may be outdated, as I am sure where ever you are going to is probably updated more often.

Got it! Was looking at comic guests list. I now count 78 Valiant artists attending. I believe there are 10 that worked on X-O 50. I plan on adding a few to my sketch cover variant. Hope to have some time to pull some books for signature. We're a month out.

Not sure about signings but Vita Ayala will be at ECCC. She is listed on a few panels.

Hope to see you at the Thursday panel.

Cool that so many Livewire and BRS artists will be there. I may bring my glass covers in. How does ink do on glass?

Already got it on my "To Do" list, I will see you there!

As far as the type of ink on the glass covers, I dunno, but I plan on doing the same. I think a regular sharpie would work, but I am not quite sure. Might try a paint stick. Reached out to Vita and Valiant, in hopes to find a better answer. With the Livewire responsive to black light, I wonder if there might be a pen that would work best...

you got a membership through CBCS? You gonna slab?

***UPDATE FROM VITA FROM TWITTER***

Vita stated that Silver or Metallic sharpie works/looks great on the glass. I would imagine that any sharpie will work, but yea, I will be investing in those metallic sharpies!

I don't think I will slab with CBCS yet, but maybe I'll pick up another copy. I have one each of the glass covers. If I get them signed, I'll likely keep them unslabbed.

I kicked it around and thought of it, but I don't want two separate accounts for slabbing. Guess, if in the future, I want to slab that book, it'll just cost me a little more going with verified signatures

New info out on a new LADOTH that David Baron did the cover on, it looks sharp! It can be picked up at his booth, or the Valiant booth.

Also, he's got a 11x17 poster, just $5 more

Really looking forward to the con. I haven't had as much time to prepare as I'd like, so it will be a late, late night tonight! I've got kid duty in the evenings, so I'll be leaving a bit on the early side of things each day.
