I've been meaning to re-read that Unity arc too...might dig out my floppies tonight after work.Dallow Spicer1 wrote:Re-read Unity #18 to check out her first appearance, boy was that a mediocre issue! War Monger doesn’t come into it until the end so i guess I’ll neee to dig out #19 to refresh my memory on this character.

I think the core premise of this character has loads of potential, however I couldn’t stand the character as portrayed during her story arc back in Unity. I have zero desire to see a new series based on her.
But in the right hands there could be something really good here. I’ll reserve judgment until I read it, but I am scratching my head over the choice to make this comic take up a precious slot in the seemingly standard 5 Valiant titles per month happening lately. Especially with Shadowman & Ninja-K dropping out of the line soon.

Wouldn't this be the first time in any Valiant that a female villain gets their own mini series. If it is, there isn't too many females that should besides the red brigade.Maybe they want to do something new with a VEI own villain, even if she wasn't that great.
I-Only judge porn by the cover.

Well, that's the thing. Characters can rise and fall with the writer and art team. With a good story and characterization, it could be terrific. So even if there were aspects about the character or story I didn't like the first time around, that doesn't necessarily mean it will stay that way with a new creative crew.grendeljd wrote:But in the right hands there could be something really good here. If the news was that Josh Dysart was writing it, the comments would be along the lines of "Can't wait to see what he does with it!"
