You Might Be A Valiant Fan...

Post by greg »

In the spirit of Jeff Foxworthy's You Might Be A Redneck... I thought we might throw out some ways to know if You Might Be A Valiant Fan.

If you've ever seen the cover of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 and thought it was Harbinger #13 ... you might be a Valiant fan.

If you've ever mentally compared a sunset to the cover of Harbinger #0 pink ... you might be a Valiant fan.

If you've ever bought a 25 year old comic book monthly price guide because it had a partial image of a Unity book ... you might be a Valiant fan.

If you've ever gotten excited seeing Dinesh's name in the news, only to be disappointed because it was Dinesh D'Souza ... you might be a Valiant fan.

If you've ever typed "Teenage Mutant Ninjak Turtles" ... you might be a Valiant fan.

Haha,
Lightening literally just struck near me ... and I thought of Harbinger #3 1:20 (Zircher)
Does that count?

That has happened to me, 'Dino' does that too, even though I doubt any reputable news source would refer to him as Dino.

If you've ever google searched Only The Valiant, expecting to find a podcast, only to be disappointed to find that it's a 50's era movie... You might be a Valiant Fan

You might be a Valiant fan if every time you hear the Imagine Dragons song "Radioactive" you think, "man, this would have been an awesome song to have used in a Solar Man of the Atom movie"

If you've ever watched "The Titan" on Netflix, and the only thing you took away from that movie is that the kid had X-O Manowar and Harbinger pictures on his wall... You might be a Valiant Fan

If you've ever been yelled at by Jim Starlin because you asked him to sign a copy of his own Unity 2000 cover ... you might be a Valiant fan.

Funny stuff sir.

I can say yes to the first 4. It would probably be a full sweep but I've never typed out Teenage Mutant Ninjak Turtles until just now.

If you refer to the act of wearing a Valiant shirt to a comic convention as "throwing on my colours", you might be a Valiant fan.

I named my daughter Rylie, mostly after her great-great-grandfather, but also because it means "Valiant One"
Her nickname is Ry (Rai) for short. 8-)
