When Dead Universes aren't dead anymore
Should we rethink the "dead universe" since several have come out their graves and returned even if they didn't last very long the last go around. I mean we've seen revivals for CGW, Crossgen, Marvel 2099, New Universe, Atlas/Seaboard, MLJ/Impact/Dark/Red Circle, and Milestone now granted that these revivals didn't last very long.
Know this: I would rather be hated for being honest for my opinions, than being loved as a liar!

Did you consider Marvel's few "Crossgen" books a true Crossgen relaunch?Cyberstrike wrote:Should we rethink the "dead universe" since several have come out their graves and returned even if they didn't last very long the last go around. Just curious in semantics

That is what Marvel called them.Elveen wrote:Did you consider Marvel's few "Crossgen" books a true Crossgen relaunch?Cyberstrike wrote:Should we rethink the "dead universe" since several have come out their graves and returned even if they didn't last very long the last go around. In this day and age of remakes, reboots and reimagining, I don’t know if there’s anything that can, or will, stay dead. I hear about a new one almost everyday. Just in the past few days I’ve heard/read about LOST and Cagney and Lacey getting new TV series. The list seems endless.
