I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

This isn't exclusively Valiant related, but I wanted to share two things I learned/encountered this week:

First, I came across a podcast, Off Panel, that I really enjoyed. It can be found in the usual places and also here:

The first episode I listened to featured John Jackson Miller of Comichron whose website can be found here:
http://www.comichron.com/

It was a great discussion about the comics industry with some mentions of classic Valiant. What blew my mind is that I did not realize that Comichron's Miller is the same guy who has written Star Wars books and comics.

I particularly enjoyed the discussion in Episode 121 with the Dublin comic shop owner who gave some nice kudos to VEI and the current Valiant books. I echo their sentiment that VEI needs more gateway books like The Valiant to attract new readers.

New Off Panel Podcast with Miller. Was that our great leader Greg Holland with the name check around the 56 minute mark?
