I looked and didn’t see anything posted about this. Paul Fairchild passed away recently - Kevin VanHook posted about it on Facebook.

For those that may know original Valiant, you may remember Paul. I don’t know what his specific title was, but I know he was involved out fan outreach. He was instrumental with my early newsletter and also hooking me up with prizes to give people and arranging for interviews to include in the newsletter.

I also found out today that he was one day younger than me.

Sad when somebody so young passes. At that age and under the circumstances I assume it wasn't natural. Sad for his kids too.

Thanks for posting. Very sad news. He was very active in the marketing of the original Valiant. I have at least one marketing letter signed by him.
