That's good news. I thought this line might be dead in the water.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
with no pic, isn't this just another pre-order on a long line of pre-orders?
We can at least say that the Shadowman HC Deluxe Edition went to production here recently, as stated in one of Dinesh's twitter comments. This, I can get more excited about.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
The only outstanding HCs are Shadowman V2, 4001, and X-O V5 (which isn't schedulted until later this month). The big news here is that they are planning to continue the "Complete Omnibus" line. There hasn't been any hint that that was the case since the Archer & Armstrong Omnibus was released back in 2015 or so.TheeBaldMoose wrote:with no pic, isn't this just another pre-order on a long line of pre-orders?

Fantastic news!
Hopefully that means we will get XO Volume 2 sometime soon

Re: The Next Omnibus...
This is great. I hate being such a collector, as I have every old issue and then buying these hardcovers, I feel I have to have them, too. Still, will buy.
Re: The Next Omnibus...
I hope that whoever is interested in this will go ahead and pre-order as that should help in ensuring it eventually comes out.
Re: The Next Omnibus...
Amazon Pre-Order price guarantee has now dropped to $68.66 for this if anyone is interested

Re: The Next Omnibus...
Hope this actually happens. I had all but decided VEI quietly ended their Omni line much like the Masters. We never did get that Eternal Warrior vol.1 Masters after all and the Shadowman Deluxe vol.2 has been sitting out there for at/over a year now with no explanation I'm aware of as to why.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
I like the omnibus, but I would also like to see trade paper backs of other vh1 titles.
I would be happy if they for example, broke down the hard corps issues into like 4 trades.
I know it's impossible legally, but I would love to see trades of the Magnus / Rai and the future force Malv war storyline.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
I got an email today from Amazon indicating they had canceled my pre-order for this. Anyone else get that? Is it no longer going to be released?

It's listed with a release date of 'TBD', not cancelled at this point.Zhuge1 wrote:I got an email today from Amazon indicating they had canceled my pre-order for this. Anyone else get that? Is it no longer going to be released?

This was the specific note:
Due to a lack of availability, we will not be able to obtain the following item(s) from your order:
Moretti, Mark "Ninjak: The Complete Classic Omnibus"
We've canceled the item(s) and apologize for the inconvenience. We must also apologize for the length of time it has taken us to reach this conclusion.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
I know pre-orders have to count for something, if they don't get enough perhaps they hold off... but I wasn't pre-ordering because I knew IST would be cheaper than Amazon (missed that early low deal...or didn't commit to it soon enough). But man this is disappointing. I was really looking forward to a Ninjak Christmas.
Of course there could be other reasons for a delay...but I'm surprised amazon 'cancelled' so early. I preodered an eric powell book that has been delayed over a year and now read's March of next year...and my order wasn't ever cancelled.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
According to Dinesh, there was a last minute potential addition that pushed it back to January.

I hope it goes back up for pre-order soon. I had a locked in price of around $66 before the cancellation.Joshua wrote:According to Dinesh, there was a last minute potential addition that pushed it back to January.
Re: The Next Omnibus...
This is again available for pre-order on Amazon (at $99.99 -- hopefully that will drop before the release date).

Re: The Next Omnibus...
Just got a note from Amazon that I should expect this to arrive next Wednesday the 14th. Very glad this is finally on the way!

Me too!
I was getting close to cancelling and ordering from IST, but IST usually takes a little over a week to get to me (if they ship the next day). This is probably 2-3 days quicker.

Re: The Next Omnibus...
I stuck with IST since they package far better than Amazon.
