My eyes have been opened to Valiant!
Hey everyone! My name is Jared and I am from Seattle, WA. I've always been into comics, but never picked up anything by Valiant for the longest time. To be honest, I had no idea who they were until I started seeing the hype about Faith.
Anyways, my buddy Hooser approached me with the idea to start a YouTube channel (WhoDooTV) to review comic books once we realized we share interest in comics! He told me all about his favorite publisher, Valiant, and so I started picking it up.
Grabbed Harbinger Vol 1 & 2 as well as X-O Manowar Vol 1 & 2 from the library and ate them up. The stories were awesome and rich and I couldn't believe there was this whole universe of stories that I had no idea existed that I could jump into. I am loving every panel I can consume. I am still learning a lot and I have a long way to go before I can get my head wrapped around everything, but it's a fun process! Archer & Armstrong are my favorite right now!
I am enjoying the new stuff getting put out right now, and seeing where the business is headed these next couple years. I figured I would hop into the discussion sometime or later and decided why not now? So here I am, opening a profile on ValiantFans.com to join the conversation!
Thanks all,
Jared

SUCCESS!
One by one, we will take over the comic book world! That may be 100 years from now, but I have faith!

Re: My eyes have been opened to Valiant!
Welcome. I'm pretty new here too. Lots of great information from true fans. I was a huge fan of original VALIANT in the early 90's but didn't start reading the new stuff till recently. I'm also excited about the future. Mainly having movies that show the general populace how interesting the valiant characters are.
