Valiant comics first came on my radar in 1992. My friends and I collected the big two but fell in love with Valiant when it became popular. We picked up whatever we could afford since we were only 11 years old. Harbinger #1 and the like were out of our price ranges. I always thought that the artwork was amazing. I adored my copy of Rai #0 for the iconic cover. When I started high school, I found girls and sports and unfortunately sold off my collection. I didn't think about comic books again till about a year ago when a comic and toy store opened very close to my house. I went in to see if they had any vintage Star Wars toys to give my daughter. They did and they also had rows of back issue comics. I found the long boxes marked Valiant and was immediately blown away when I flipped through. I picked up six comics that day including Rai #0. First comics purchased in 22 years and I picked up right where I left off. Since then I have been building my pre-unity collection (over half way there) and have been collecting all the books I could not afford as a child. My favorite new additions to my collection are Harbinger #0 pink, Bloodshot #0 gold and Ninjak #1 gold. I think I'm in it for the long haul now and I am really excited for the movies if they ever come out.

I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)
