nycjadie wrote:Oh, man. So true. You could see this with the recent X-O gold which were selling at $200+. Pros were abound, and moneybags were buying. The supply of moneybags ran out, but the pros needed to move, so whinypants like me jumped in to get one at $50. Then there were a few luckyducks at $45ish. I was a nannybooboo, as I wanted one raw and one 9.8, so I bought a second (luckyduck purchase).
Not quite a "Luckyduck" but I snagged this beauty today. They had $75 on it, I was like I can do $60, SOLD!!

Although, out of the blue, my son who plays Call of Duty, religiously, and has never read a comic in his life, lol. Ask me to pick him up Secret Empire FCBD, #0 & #1. So I spent $75 anyway...

Took a beating on a couple of these (apparently missed some small bends), but got the right grades where it counted. Really happy to score on the Iron Man homage covers. Was doing business in Boston a few weeks ago and decided to stop in at Larry's Comics (since I liked his variant the best). Had a great visit, grabbed two copies, and threw the CGC dice!

Was kind of fun tracking down a comic the old fashioned way! Had been awhile!

It is limited to only 500 pieces, so I wouldn't wait too long to track it down. I have a feeling once it disappears into collections, the Larry's cover will be very tough to come by.
