Interesting Nintendo find going through some old books
So I dug up my old Nintendo Power Magazine stacks to take a look at and organize. I remembered they had little mini comics in them, and I know (now) that Valiant did the full issue comics. But I did NOT know that Valiant did one of the minis! I only found this single one. I dont have every issue but I have a pretty damn good run from 20-79 and I couldn't find another Valiant mini anywhere in that run. Thought it would be fun to share

Re: Interesting Nintendo find going through some old books
Thanks Jmatt. It was super fun to go through all of those. 80's/90's gaming is my childhood, super nostalgia run that night. Also really awesome to find a crossover to my new hobby along the wayjmatt wrote:Nice find, right in your own stash.
Zits, Pimple and Wart aren't Mario, Link and Captain N - but hey ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ super fun game and a nice little Valiant gem

Could be a browser issue? I had to use a goofy workaround with google pics to get them to stick and I guess there can be browser differences with that from what I understand. Chrome should work.

Nice find!
Does this continue in the next issue? According to the link below, it's in volume 24 and 25. The link also has all 16 pages of the story:

Luckily these issues are only $5-$10 each and there are many available - for now, unless us Valiant nuts scoop them all up.FlipMega wrote:iggy101us wrote:Nice find!

These have been on my buy list for some time, but as they are so plentiful, I've never bothered. Great fun!

Yes. I do think that Nintendo stuffs will be my next project after a couple of other major universe books are taken care of. At least I have a head start on the NP angle.

UPDATE: Turns out I do have 25 but I didn't pick up on the comic being there because it's not in the table of contents. The pages of the story are mixed in with a strategy guide section. And there's no mention of Valiant in this one that I've found. Instead it says 1990 Rare Ltd., Licensed to Tradewest.
