My Valiant sketchbook - added some new art

I figured you folk would enjoy seeing my new Valiant-themed sketchbook gradually acquire its artwork...

Hubby was on a work trip to Texas which happily coincided with Fan Expo Dallas this weekend, so I put him to work and I am happy to say... the sketchbook is off to an awesome start!

and a watercolour of War Mother by Emily Rose Romano (this I arranged as a surprise for hubby, as he loves WM. It will be stuck into the sketchbook)

Hoping to add a few more sketches to the book at Thought Bubble in September, or indeed if there are any stray Valiant artists attending Worldcon in August, but I'm not sure if they have a big comics presence at Worldcon, who knows! :) I'll add any new sketches to this thread so we can all enjoy them.

Those are some pretty cool sketches, though. I'd definitely want a Cary Nord Grendel to add to my collection of Grendel sketches.

hahahaa... I know :( I would have loved to have gone too, the new Star Trek Continues episode was on there. According to hubby the Valiant panels were very small, they seemed to have all their big guns up at Wondercon. But yeah, they did have a great bunch of artists there so the sketchbook is happy.

Never heard of Joey Lee Cabral before. Seems to be an amazing artist though. You're selling this (Bloodshot)? :lol:

I hope we'll see GIN_GR in Secret Weapons too.

Me neither, I saw some of his art in another group and followed a link to offer he was doing on Instagram, his work is fantastic! He was doing sketches for only $15 shipped, well worth keeping an eye on his Instagram account!
