I thought this issue was good but not the best of the three issue to date. I like the clever idea of making Adele's stream of conscious play out like Riverdale High - and they even went meta with it by getting the artist who currently draws the new Jughead comic onboard... But I don't think it needed to be set in that 'realm' for the entire issue though.

We didn't really learn much from Adele overall, just some personal filler & the one big clue about the Momoo juice. I'm thinking it's got a chemical agent in it that controls the people in town who drink it, in some manner.

Am I the only person who finds gamete the super fetus and the whole concept of that character messed up and disturbing?

It was so... Let's just day I would be more fearful of being caught red handed reading this than a Pent House or something.

This issue was strange and didn't really hit it off with me. Too much time in Adele's head space. It was cool n it wasn't.

Bravo, Greg!

Forgot to say that I loved this issue. I'm not a fan of Archie, but the whole concept of experiencing someone through a Heroscape was pretty unique to me, and what a hoot that she sees her life like that. Great work, FVL!

See, I think you're wrong there. When she was crying in her bed, she asked "why did he have to die?", and her dad (or the person portraying her dad in her dream) stated "He did it to himself", which (to me) shows that he refused something, and for punishment, they killed him. It's a small window, but I think it showed that the children of the town really don't have much to do regarding whats going on.

I totally agree with you regarding the Momoo juice and the mind control. Probably has a great deal to do with the mind block they found while inside her brain, boosts its power or fortifies it somehow.

Huh. I like the observation.

I think it would be interesting to see a conversation between the Zygos twins and Gamete. Spooky squared.

Sean mentioned that in VCR - he refused to drink Momoo juice when offered at the burger joint. He was probably clear of whatever brainwashing effect it may have, and thus was a target for extermination...
