OK, most these pages are not all that "new". A few were acquired recently but most were acquired 2-3 years ago. I just haven't had time to take pics and inventory them. Not I am all caught up. Whew!

Features the 1st appearance of Faith in costume in panel 3 of this page (note that it's not 1st appearance of Faith but of her in costume). Matching inks and colors.

Great piece. I saw that DPS in person almost 3 months ago! His Art Rep was guarding that s.o.b. like an eagle! I asked what they wanted for, got a response and I was likenycjadie wrote:Pere Perez centerpiece for the Valiant 2016 FCBD book.

Just one question...... did you haggle?
Re: Post your new OA in your collection here!
That's definitely a nice pick-up. Should look great up on the wall. I guess I need to add you to the list of people I have to worry about grabbing stuff before I can.
I forgot to post this one from a few weeks ago. Thanks to Dan for putting the deal together.

I've been back and forth on this one with David for a number of months. Finances allowed me to finally push the button. I like the big pieces. This is 2 panels, and reminds me a bit of Kevin Maquire's work on JLA in the 80's.Beware Cyclops wrote:Great piece. I saw that DPS in person almost 3 months ago! This piece is awesome! I don't think you have anything to worry about from me. I'm usually far from 1st in line for pieces, and I don't buy that much. I get the leftovers In fact, I'm going to significantly pare down my art and have a handful of my favorites that I can enjoy on the wall.MGS wrote:That's definitely a nice pick-up. For the record, I'm not selling any pre-Unity! (I get that question every time I note that I'm pairing down!)

Yup 17"x22". I know, I was there!!! It probably has my fingerprints on it somewhere. No way I could've acquired it at the time but did pick up 3 pieces.nycjadie wrote:I've been back and forth on this one with David for a number of months. Just out of curiosity, is there anyone following this thread that doesn't belong to the Valiant Comic Fans Facebook group? I kinda feel silly posting this stuff in both places, but oh well.
Anyway, just in case there are a couple of you out there that don't. Here's Doug Braithwaite's cover to Bloodshot U.S.A. #2. I guess he doesn't sell a lot of his original art because I haven't seen any of his Valiant stuff pop up anywhere. One good thing to come out of the Brexit vote is that its saved me a few bucks on the exchange rate for this one.

Ha right!? I feel the same way sometimes and occasionally forget to post in one place or the other.MGS wrote:Just out of curiosity, is there anyone following this thread that doesn't belong to the Valiant Comic Fans Facebook group? I kinda feel silly posting this stuff in both places, but oh well.
CAF seems to be my catch all but even then I don't always get around to posting everything.
Nice score! I have not seen any Braithwaite Valiant art out there.MGS wrote:Anyway, just in case there are a couple of you out there that don't. I think you psiot ability is to find artists who don't normally sell their work and convince them otherwise.
