CAN WE HELP VEI JOIN THE 100+ AMAZON REVIEW CLUB?

We all know VEI has fantastic TPBs. But there is something that WE can do to help out their efforts and it's easy.

VEI has five volumes that would benefit GREATLY if we could get them at the 100+ review level on Amazon. Some are close and others will require more effort. Hitting this level of reviews not only gives potential readers more reasons to consider buying these trades, but it also hits a status for TPB reviews which is achieved by few TPBs. ALL of this certainly helps VEI.

As of this writing XO #1 has 97 reviews.
Harbinger #1 has 79 reviews.
Bloodshot #1 has 74 reviews.
The Valiant #1 is at 65 reviews.
Divinity #1 stands at 46 reviews.

Reviewing on Amazon is easy. Log into your Amazon account, search for the TPB, then type in your review. As long as you own the TPB OR have the books that make up the TPB, then you're fine to review it. Such high visibility helps raise market awareness of Valiant's quality products and stories, which expands readership, and grows marketshare. It seems like a small thing, but it pays big dividends.

With the membership and active supporters we have here, it should be a very achievable goal to help VEI hit this elite status. I'm hoping that YOU can offer VEI that help TODAY and assist them as a small "thank you" for all they do for us

Harbinger #1 TPB now sits with 80 reviews. Are there 20 members here who haven't reviewed it yet that could get this book to be the SECOND VEI volume to have 100 reviews?

Given all the love expressed here for all that Dinesh and team have done, I have to believe that the answer is a resounding, "Hell yes, there are 20 here who want to help!"

How quick can YOU go and post a review for this on Amazon to help VEI get their second book with 100 reviews? Would love to see this group pull this off for VEI

XO is now at 100 reviews.

Harbinger #1 has 82 reviews. Just 18 more and it will be the 2nd Valiant TPB to gain elite status

Bloodshot #1 is at 75 reviews to date.

The Valiant has 67 reviews.

Divinity now has 49 reviews.

It won't take much effort to help VEI with their goal of 100 reviews for some of their top TPBS. If you haven't taken the time to do these yet, it would certainly be appreciated if you could

Just out of curiosity - are you saying that having 100+ reviews on a trade somehow elevates its status on Amazon? As in, does it get into a higher level of promotion by Amazon / visibility on their website after 100+ reviews? Are there multiple tiers if so?

Not trying to criticize anything here, it's great to see fans helping promote the books in any way they can, I was just wondering

No. There are not different tiers. For a TPB to have 100 reviews is a rare thing and when people are looking for books to purchase, it should help pull them to books if that book has 100 reviews or more. Even DC and Marvel don't have many TPBs with that many reviews so for any books by VEI to stand out among the crowd, it helps to have a high level of reviews. Books with that many review are often viewed as "the best of the best" by potential buyers so we're doing our best to get Valiant's quality products in a high visibility by pushing the fans to post reviews. It's yet another way that fans CAN do something to help out VEI in a small way. Great question though and hopefully I cleared it up.

Don't know if they're mostly convention newbies to Valiant or what, but the strong reviews both in number and quality for Harbinger are a great sign. I don't believe many are boardies. I think we all recognize if Harbinger in particular took off and was appreciated by a bigger audience, rising tides lift all boats so to speak. Great sign! It's also a possibility Bruce's efforts are paying off directly on Amazon, i.e. perhaps we literally hit a tipping point with the book. Number of reviews for it all of the sudden growing fast.

I know at ECCC that Valiant had great deals on buying the trades. I bought a bunch to send to friends and I don't normally do that. I would imagine they have sold some impressive numbers of those.

I do Amazon Reviews as I can but I think I have only reviewed the first TPBs they released. I will do what I can.

Bloodshot #1 TPB now has 89 reviews over at Amazon. If we can just get 11 more reviews that would make the 3rd VEI TPB to hit the elite level of 100 review TPBs. Have to think there are 11 members here who can make this happen for VEI. What about YOU?

Not far behind that THE VALIANT #1 TPB stands at 75 reviews with Divinity now at 65 reviews.
