The question is: What will people do with thepolybagged issues? Leave them sealed and never know what art is in them? Or open them up?

Leaving these issues polybagged would be a crime.

If I were one of the artists doing sketches for these I'd be pretty *SQUEE* that a load of my sketches never even got seen because collectors left them sealed in their damn bags... Totally wasted time drawing 'em y'know? Pointless.

Open these bags!

What would be more valuable? A sealed polybagged issue, or the issue and the print/sketch (I'm assuming one won't know if they're getting a micro-print or a sketch)?

Of course, this isn't like the Death of Superman Polybags, or the old Polybags which contained a specific card or print where you'd just buy two copies--one to open and one to keep pristine. Likely no way to tell what you have, and the possibly valuable original art, both make it impossible to keep these in the bag, IMHO.

So, I just saw this posted from Sina Grace, who (as far as I know) has not relationship to VEI at all professionally. I suppose this means VEI has reached out to the comics industry in general to help make these sketches. Pretty cool promo they're doing.

I think Sina Grace did a store exclusive variant. I want to say it was one of Ed's but I could be all kinds of wrong.

So going by the current sales numbers + a boost from this promotion ...

Maybe 47, 48 and 49 will get 8,000 print run each?

#50 should get an even bigger boost --- maybe gets to 12k?

so that means the potential of 700-750 unique peices of original artwork that can be found between issue 47-50 ..? Does that sound right ..or is that crazy?

Your crazy I saw it written some place50 total prices of original art the rest is photocopyed from that original art.
Odds 50 /32000 that is if theres 8000 print run for all 47, 48, 49, 50 anyone wanna buy one of my kidneys so I can afford to get a issue with original art?

There are no photocopies. All the original art pieces are...original art. The rest are micro-prints featuring 50 different X-O Manowars.
