I'm not saying they will not stay hot or in demand.
But from my perspective some to a lot of the variant crazy is driven from the glut of spec sites right now. Again, just my perspective. Not saying it's bad or good. But the venom variants being uber hot (besides the ASM one) is newish.
Sell Mortimer sell.

If you want it, then for sure keep it. But if you are wanting to, willing to sell. Do it now.greatbrandino11 wrote:DittoIMJ wrote:I'd like to sell that Iron Man issue, but it's the only copy I've got, and it's... you know... my Iron Man collection. JSC variants do well in general.Elveen wrote:StarBrand wrote:Why?
I'm guessing:
JSC variant craze???
Also, I'm guessing, specin aint easy but everybody is doing it.
Combine a JSC variant with the buzz about the new Black Panther series, and I thought it was time to get rid of my 2009 #1 sketch variant. So I listed it last night as an auction with a silly BIN, and found that someone jumped on it this morning:

If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

It's going to be interesting to see what Civil War slabs do when the movie breaks. Aren't they supposed to do a series of Civil War movies too?

Nope. Not that I'm aware of. I would guess there would be fallout that carries into the next movies but for this year it's just Cap and Strange.StarBrand wrote:It's going to be interesting to see what Civil War slabs do when the movie breaks. Black Science. Lazarus. Birthright. Saga. Manifest Destiny. Deadly Class.

My sister saw it this morning and said it ranks up there as one of the best Marvel movies. Time to get my set ready to list.StarBrand wrote:It's going to be interesting to see what Civil War slabs do when the movie breaks. Aren't they supposed to do a series of Civil War movies too?

People said that about Iron Man 3 too. Actually people say that about every new Marvel movie, and they said it about the Nolan Batman movies, and look at how those are perceived in hindsight.kjjohanson wrote:My sister saw it this morning and said it ranks up there as one of the best Marvel movies. I'm hoping for a great flick though. I'm really disappointed in the direction that Iron Man has gone in barring Iron Man 1, Avengers 1 and the Hulkbuster fight in AoA. Buuutttt Winter Soldier was amazing so I'm holding out hope for this one...

Hmm. I wonder if Wolverine 80 will jump as well (first X23 in test tube). I just received results that I am getting a 9.8 from CGC.

I think its safe to say that at some point, this will not be a $1 book.

Just ran across this book... Ka-Zar 17... first Everett Ross... the print run can't be too high on this.

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
I was pleasantly surprised to notice that one of the Ebay sellers I have great respect for raised his price on Ultimate Fallout 4 CGC 9.8 from $200 to $300. I searched to see how many copies are on Ebay and I only see one other copy at $235. That happened quickly. It's a book I study prices on every day, as far as the entire market. Total listings of Ultimate Fallout 4 is down to 114, and that's the lowest I've seen since I started tracking that book.
