New Valiant Characters?

Post by xounitylord »

Do you think that the new "REAL" owners of Valiant should just start with new characters until all of the legal stuff is over? That way we get new Valiant books, and they could just reintoduce the other characters later. Good or bad idea?

Hey all, I didn't say that I agreed with the idea, but I'm sure that it has crossed some minds. I was curious as to what you all thought, as it appears that the Valiant Purists seem to be in the minority in the poll! :(

There is nothing wrong with new characters and the new owners will need some eventually. But to lead in with a new character would be suicide.

I don't know, new characters are cool and all, but we need the core universe set up first! :thumb:

I want the new owners to buy the Broadway chaaracters and integrate them into the VALIANT universe.

Fatale, Star Seed, and Knights on Broadway were awesome characters.

They can change the last one's name to VALIANT Knights! lol

Buy the Defiant characters also......
Defiant, Broadway and pre-Unity Valiant. That would be a cool universe.

Yeah.

Most of the Defiant and Broadway stuff might have come out from VALIANT if Shooter and the others (i.e. Janet) hadn't left with him (I think Fatale was supposed to be a VALIANT character. Just imagine that for a moment...).

But they would have to get Shooter involved as a writer.

My apologies...I thought the topic was regarding NEW characters....not OLD ones.

Maybe her VALIANT version would have been a Harbinger. I'd love to see the "daughter of a demon" angle brought to VALIANT, though.

Fatale was a great story.

It is. I'm just wondering who were the old strong female characters.
Randy from X-O and Carmen from DR. Mirage are the only two that come to mind.

Kris kicked butt.

What was the name of the girl from Harbinger that joined the team after they came back from Unity?

There's Randy over in XO, X-O Commando in Magnus/Rai.

Carmen was my favorite. I would like to see more characters like hers.
