Bloodshot Reborn 10 Lemire CBCS 9.9~ PICTURES!
So, I'm on vacation and I get a text that I have a signature required Fedex package that was not delivered since there was nobody home to sign for it. It says that it was from Sarasota Fl. and there is only one thing that I had coming from Fl. and that was my first CBCS order!
I decided to try them out and sent in 10 books. Among them were two Rai #0 books and 2 Bloodshot Reborn 10 Lemire variants that I got from DCBS dirt cheap.
Anyway, I decided to log into my CBCS account and see what if I could access any of the grades and I noticed a 9.9 next to the second book in the list which was Bloodshot Reborn 10! I about fell out of my seat! The other one graded as a 9.8 so I was already excited. I was hoping to put one of them up on the bay to cover some of my grading expenses, now I am not sure if I want to sell the 9.9!
It doesn't matter right now anyway, since I won't be able to pick up my books until Monday.
BTW, I hit 7 out of 10 on my pre-screens. Not sure if that is a good average or not, but I guess I am happy with that. Oh and both Rai #0 came back 9.6 which is kinda what I expected.

- I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

So
a) Extremely jealous
b) Which one are we talking about? 1:100 line variant or 1:50 issue variant?
One is more pimp than the other, though either would be awesome. I believe the B&W 1:50 is Larosa

Re: Bloodshot Reborn 10 Lemire CBCS 9.9~
Overall, I've gotta say that I really like CBCS better than CGC. This could have to do with my last order from CGC http://www.valiantfans.com/forum/viewto ... hilit=+cgc
But, overall, I like the communication with CBCS. They are very accessible through their facebook page. I love the way they ship their books and I really like the way that the slabs look.
I also like the fact that you can submit for a pre-screen without having to send in 50 books. I'm not a huge grader as you can tell from my last submission date. But I may become a more frequent submitter now that the process is so easy.
I forgot to mention. CBCS received my books on Feb. 23 and They sent them back to me on April 8.

I used to be in this camp, but CGC has improved turn around times. With the price hike at CBCS and the still uncertain market for CGC vs CBCS, I'm going with CGC for the time being.nutflush76 wrote:Overall, I've gotta say that I really like CBCS better than CGC. I won't turn my nose up at CBCS. I've submitted a few books to them and bought a few CBCS slabs, I just won't be submitting anymore. Plus I like the new CGC holder better.

Re: Bloodshot Reborn 10 Lemire CBCS 9.9~
Agreed on these points. I'm not completely convinced about the new holders though. They are much heavier, and don't lock with other slabs quite as well, so that leads to collapsing towers of slabs. I suppose this is only an issue for those who have tons of slabs, like us. I also don't like the top label. It looks too incongrous with my other slabs, almost like a PGX slab.Intrepidxc wrote:I used to be in this camp, but CGC has improved turn around times.
