nope, but there is something significant about the
secret weapons dude (whatever his name is

) in the printed
version of this piece.

Dan,

I seem to recall this was the advertised cover to Valiant Reader #2. And it was never actually published. I think it shows up in a couple of ads or in Previews because I remember hunting and hunting for that book until I finally realized it never existed.

Yup you got it Steve. It was featured in an ad in the June '94 books.
(Ninjak #5 for example)
The secret weapons dude was blacked out cause he was still um... a secret.
