So im still trying to catch em all
And noticed the Archer Armstrong arcade brewery variant
Im sure you guys are probably more up on things
Than I am so you know they have an
Archer armstrong brewski.
So I asked arcade how to buy a variant
Im not in the Chicago area so they
Suggested a place called the beer temple
Claiming they ship. Ship the variant or the
Booze? Or the variant and also the booze?
Im going to inquire so its just a heads up
Maybe youre also curious and interested
In either the variant or the alcohol

I was bummed enough when I saw the beer and figured it would be hard to come by but then the comic was a crusher! Hopefully they do something to make them available!

I never heard back from the Beer Temple. I'd prefer to not have to use eBay in hopes of a few attendees putting up nice copies after the event and listing outrageous prices.

I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow and see if I can't get a few copies out on hold or something for board members. I know I have no pull with a random bar in Chicago I've never been to but it can't hurt. In the extreme off chance I can get some copies on hold I'll let everybody know.

I called and got no answer but I e-mailed the Arcade Brewery and got this response quickly:

"You would have to discuss that with Valiant directly as we have nothing to do with the comic and how it's distributed. There will be online stores like The Beer Temple in Chicago where you'll be able to order the beer."

I essentially asked if we could purchase the comic from their online shop or if they could hold a few copies for board members. Looks like it's not a possibility. So, do we have any VEI connections who might help us?

I just heard back from the Arcade Brewery and they said we can get the beer faster at http://www.beercellarchicago.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They aren't expecting to have a lot so go get it! They won't have any comics for those interested. Looks like eBay is the way we have to go on the 19th.

Nope, just individual beers according to the Beer Cellar.

I just ordered four ... $8.99 each for 22 oz. beers. Shipping is FedEx ground so it came out to about $16 a beer.

Arcade Brewery followed up with me about the variant #1 comic. There are only 200 to be distributed. They expect all to be doled out. However, and it's a capital H however, if there are any extras they said they'd sell them to me. I only want 1. I'll sell the rest to the board for cost + shipping. Many on this board have helped me track down tough to find books at inexpensive prices. I want to pay it forward. Cheers!
