Breaker...dead or alive?

Post by Benny_Decker »

I just finished reading The Valiant, featuring Breaker, an old friend of Gilad. I then read Unity #0 where at the end Gilad mentions going to Breaker's funeral back in the Unit Y days. Is there a story that explains what happened to Breaker, or is this a continuity error? Sorry if this has already been discussed or if the answer is painfully obvious and I missed it. Thanks!

Great question. Now I'm wondering the same thing.
I wrote a Shadowman Story for KINDLE WORLDS.

Nope, Breaker's story has not been told, much less how he survived the events told in Unity #0.. Personally, I hope Valiant finds use for him and his Great-great Grandson, Stock. Candidates for a Secret Weapons team? I think so!

My guess is somewhere in there is the story of how he wound up where he was in The Valiant. Deaths can be faked or assumed...

I really liked the Breaker character. I think Kindt's characters tend to work best in a quirky indie-small press type of story. However, IMNSHO, they worked well in the old-skool Unity story.
