Wow. The integrity of an online poll has been sullied...unimaginable.

Umm, it's not rigging the vote if fans are rallying other fans to vote. That's called advertising. Maybe I'd have visited their website before today if they did a better job of that themselves.

I mentioned this in another thread already about this article -my impression of that article is that it's written with a sarcastic slant more towards the poll-maker freaking out & the ridiculous nature of getting upset about vote rigging in more-or-less unimportant small websites more than having a problem with the fans who are being railed against by the poll-maker.

I could be wrong though.

I realized the satire, but wrote my response based on the notion that anyone would become upset over fans out-voting other fans in a poll.

I also thought posting screen grabs of this message board was extremely inappropriate. Not sure why, I just didn't like it. I know its a public forum, and it might even get us some new board traffic/members, but it just rubbed me the wrong way.

I know the serious business and all, but if they only want certain people to vote then why is the voting open to anyone? Maybe they should require a government issued ID. Or is that unconstitutional?

And, yeah. Posting screen grabs is pretty chickensh!t. It's kinda funny to see someone get their panties in a wad over something of so little consequence. Reminds me of when my 3 year old's banana broke in half and he freaked out when I couldn't put it back together.
