Tell me about it. My normal "source" hasn't had much luck. When he's not finding 9.8 copies I know they are hard to come by.

In five months? I only say that because I submitted 20 or so VEI variants to CGC for grading at SDCC and was told it would take four months to get the books back. At the four month mark I called them and they said all books submitted at SDCC were "just now" with the graders and it would be another 4-5 weeks before I'd see mine. Wow! Seems with both CGC and CBCS both backed up this far there is room for another grading service out there. That is, if anybody has the resources to set up such a business.

They told me for the large batch of books that I dropped off at the Con for 9.8 pre-screening that those would take 4-5 months. However, I also submitted the Ninjak Gold along with five other hot key issues separately which I told them to grade as is. As of last week, CGC contacted me for payment for those six books which I confirmed they have already charged for grading. So hopefully I get those six back soon?

Also FYI for anybody that submits books to CGC grading on site. On-site grading does not guarantee you get the books graded the same day. If they are overwhelmed, they will take the books back to Sarasota and mail it back to you which you have to cover the shipping.
