I'll double that offer for the 3 books.greg wrote:I'll give you $12 for those 3, you keep the other 97 books.Tim wrote:Guy I work with brought a box of about 100 comics and asked for $10 for them. I bought them without really looking at the because I saw some early 90's Iron Man issues that looked pretty neat. Apart from a lot of great reading stuff (Byrne Alpha Flight, Micronauts, ROM, later run Power Man and Iron Fist) and some nice flippage that included:
Star Was #107
First Deadpool mini
Death of Superman TPB sealed with Action #1 reprint.

HardCORPS Vh1 gold in the dollar bin today. There's nothing wrong with it and it was bagged and boarded.

I was flipping through the current Overstreet (vol.45) and just happened to notice that ROM #1 was listed at $60 for a 9.2... Did you happen to have that issue in the box? With the recent news that IDW is doing a new ROM book next year, there could be a little more heat on the marvel books...Tim wrote:Guy I work with brought a box of about 100 comics and asked for $10 for them. There has been some Rom interest at shows this last little bit. I've been buying #1s when I can find them.grendeljd wrote:I was flipping through the current Overstreet (vol.45) and just happened to notice that ROM #1 was listed at $60 for a 9.2... Just picked up x-o 67 for $2.00 at comic shop. It's one of a handful of issues I don't have, so I was pleased.

Re: Bragging rights - your best deal of late?
I checked the seller's other items and he did have a separate entry for the signed Bloodfire book, so I figured he just made the mistake with the picture. I sent a message to confirm the book that I intended on purchasing.nycjadie wrote:That is one lucky gamble that paid off big time. Congrats!

I can't really see the signature on the COA, but it looks like Steve Massarsky was his own witness.
