Awsome Valiant Accliam Purchase ~ HUGE POST

Post by Phantom »

:D
G'Day, My names Fletcher and I started reading comics in 1988 with issue 933 of the PHantom. Hence my title name.
I will right my valiant story on another thread, I read alot of the message boards since joining this web site. Rarely do I sign in, mainly just browse.
Don't mean to be offencive ~ but sometimes comments from members annoy me, comments they write but wouldn't say face to face.
ANYHOW
I have an awsome tail to tell. Whilst working in a comic shop 1992~1998 I purchased alot of valiant, but could never afford VVss or golds or to many titles. In the end we couldn't get rid of them.

I got Unity Platnium and gold, Armories Gold, Both RAI VVSS, and lots of the low print pre unitys of ).50 Aust each about .25 ameriacan cents at the time.
:D :D
Cleared it with the manager before buying, and pointed out what they were, he just wanted to get rid of them. Got lots standard issues aswell :thumb:

Over the years I rumage through discount bins, get so pre unity at 50 pence (now live in England UK) aswell as common issues for 10 p, occational signed edition but not VVSS.
Question is evey issue of Defiant Plasm number one signed??? It seems harder to find one without a signature.

Anyhow ~ DON'T hate ME cause I just brought the folowing from ebay.
Warning ~ now I have *SQUEE* loads of doubles but it was worth it to complete my missing issues. I did the math and I worked out pretty cool to fill in my missing issues~~~~~~~ but now I have about 630 doubles/ triples etc.
THE FOLLOW FOR £600 enlish pounds about 1100 american???

I erge everyone to use @Bollocks@ on this web site. If you say it to someone it means they are full *SQUEE*, or something is bollocks = *SQUEE*.

Not to be confussed with 'The Dogs Bollocks) which means its brilliant.

Don't kick me of the site. Just have a bubble / turkish

Sorry no artwork. Thats right I screwed the pooch on that one. Maybe someone can move this to an area better suited?
Whilst looking through the web site board, I know their is something similar for what I posted, still am not familiar with all the strands.
Or could I just be messingwith your minds  , so you had to go through everything I brought ~ looking for art work that wasn't their? (I wouldn't do that ~ but now I thought of it!)
Anyhow ~ good buy? or not?

Please tell mewere to transfer this stand or can the administer to it?

Fletch!

NB ~ You Rock. Glad someoneout their uses the same language as me

Bollocks is fine here, *SQUEE* is not.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Re: Awsome Valiant Accliam Purchase ~ HUGE POST

Post by Phantom »

My first post, and after? nearly 7000 posts under various Phantom , Phantom. then Phantom..
Somehow I passed 3000 on my original account ~ and not even new it.

Shame, my 3000 post was to announce the Shadowman mask project realise date and project details.
Original started with Crow33, then just left ~ as he never returned emmails after the first 8 masks where completed.

I have roughly done a few more.
Why taking so long, well each mask probably takes 2 full working days to complete ~ and with three kids, and owning a business to sacrifice that time with no support or motivation, I just left it.

So thanks for my custom title, thought it would be Phantom............................. , as I never wanted to get to 3000.

THanks guys its been a blast, didn't even know I had let it go past 3000.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Fletch, did you ever get around to making a thread in the My Valiant Story section? I gave a quick look and did not see one (could have missed it though). If not, I can move this one over there if you want. Congrats on the custom.
