Dang. I can get on on Firefox. Perhaps I am a dolt.

It's likely that someone has posted a photo of their art that's being hosted elsewhere. That "elsewhere" photo hosting is probably trying to sell (them, us, anyone) something... which is probably triggering some of the "malware" detectors.
It didn't come from this site.

I get this on a lot of threads now when I use Chrome while in my office.

Don't use Chrome. Use FireFox with the NoScript add-on. It won't even allow the script to run that is triggering your alert. And it won't bug you about it either.
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Unfortunately our office uses Firefox (an older version of it, too) to run some key programs. So I can't use it for the web while I'm there.

I, as well, am bound by administrative controls. My options are Firefox with district controls, or my modified chrome. I choose chrome.

I'm traveling right now, but I'll look into blocking atmac.org (whatever that is) when I get home. I assume it has something to do with an image someone posted on the site.

Found the problem. It was an avatar that a member was trying to use from atmac.orggreg wrote:I'm traveling right now, but I'll look into blocking atmac.org (whatever that is) when I get home. I assume it has something to do with an image someone posted on the site.
People were getting the warning anytime they were on a page with a post from that user.
