DBS on-going project 1: Eternal Warrior #7(?) (Larosa variant) stage-display.

1. Initial sketches of 4 potential covers that Larosa submitted to VEI for cover selection.

2. The actual pencil & inked original cover.

3. The cell that will (eventually) display a (hopefully) 9.8 graded copy.

My idea here is to show the beginning, middle, and end-state of the creation process for what we as fans enjoy so much.

DBS on-going project 2: Bloodshot & H.A.R.D. Corps #0 (1:25 Larosa variant) stage-display.

1. Initial sketches of 4 potential covers that Larosa submitted to VEI for cover selection (NOTE: while cover concept #D was used for this issue, Larosa confirmed with me this past week that he later modified cover concept #C and used the idea for the cover art on Eternal Warrior #8. Just a cool little bit of info

).

2. The actual pencil & inked original cover.

3. The cell that will (eventually) display a (hopefully) 9.8 graded copy. I used an extra graded copy of G.I. Joe #1 to make sure that the cell was cut to the right size needed to display a CGC case (it was difficult to explain to the Thai frame shop what a CGC case was...).

My idea here is to show the beginning, middle, and end-state of the creation process for what we as fans enjoy so much.

My hope is to have an end-product that looks like my design below:

Thanks again for hooking up the contact and sale Dan.

Lewis was cool enough to include his concept sketches, which was not anticipated, but very much appreciated.

Now we just need to talk Lewis into doing a few CGC signings, which based on my conversation with him he has not done yet. Actually, he asked how to set one up in the future.

Well, now, there have been some interesting developments reguarding the above cover. Going to be a few days before I can know 100% for certain, but after my discussion with LaRosa today it appears that I will need to drastically alter my display on this perticular piece. More to come...
