Been a busy holiday week for me. Here's a few peices I recently scored:

Divinity III Escape from Gulag 396 by Adam Gorham

Image

Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #14 page 22 (last page of the series) by Robert Gill

Image

Britannia #2 variant cover by Ryan Lee
I liked his #1 cover so much I went back for more!
Image

Wrath of the Eternal Warrior unpublished cover by Dan Parent
I've had this one for awhile was waiting to see if it was going to get published.
Looks like not, but oh well I dig it.

That's it for now. Looking forward to some new stuff in 2017!

Well, that's an impressive haul. Congrats!

Ryan Lee did some nice covers for Britannia. I'm glad to see he's getting some interiors work now as well.

I only have one new piece to add. :)

Divinity #2 by Lewis LaRosa

I've been patiently biding my time to pick up one of Lewis' covers, and I finally got an opportunity.

Not sure how it made it's way there. I may check in with them and see if they have any details.
I especially like finding art from key books I read in the 90's as a teenager.
Little did I know then how influential they'd be for me.

Picked this up on eBay. Even though the actual art is quite small compared to other colored pages, it's still a cool cover.

Timewalker #3 cover. Penciled by Don Perlin, inked by Gonzalo Mayo, colored by Mike McGuire.

I was talking to LaRosa about it a few weeks back, and mentioned that I might contact Brian Reber (the original colorist) to hand-color this artwork for a really stunning piece.

LaRosa flat out told me in no uncertain terms NOT to do this, and to keep the art clean as is lol!

Oh no! Don't do that! :)

You could always scan and print copies onto boards, and have him color those. Then you'd have both. Great pick-up, by the way.

I totally, without a doubt, agree with this statement!! There's also the possibility to scan them and send them over the internet.

Lots of great Valiant art at ECCC this past weekend. Wish I could've grabbed some more, but have to be at least somewhat responsible. Especially loved a couple of J.G. Jones' recent covers, but they were a bit out of my price range. I did manage to pick up these two though. Both guys were great to talk to, and very patient while I endlessly debated my purchases. :)
