Timewalker reading for the first time

Post by Fatal Rose »

I'm bored and this seems interesting. How does it stack up to the rest of the Valiant books? I've read all of Ninjak (loved it!) and some Magnus. I will also get back in Magnus soon too and finish that up. But for right now I will start on Timewalker. If I have free time tomorrow I'll read issue 1. The art looks great!

It's OK for late Valiant titles. I particularly like the Harbinger Wars part.

At first I thought you meant that you had already started reading Timewalker and were bored.

I'm not sure how much of the other titles you've read before Timewalker. I think the more familiar you are with the universe as a whole the better you will like TW. As mentioned the Harbinger Wars portion of TW was pretty cool, but if you didn't already know about them going in they might not be as special, if you get my drift.

All in all, I liked the series. Enjoy!

I just re-read the Harbinger Wars arc. Issues 6,7, and 8 i believe.

I really enjoyed the artwork, story was ok, I felt that it had some interesting points....but was swept up too quickly in the final issue.

I agree. It isn't super or anything, but if you compare it to what was coming out at the time from Valiant it is superior.

The ending did feel rushed, I agree.
