I haven't gotten past Chaos Effect on EW yet, but I was totally digging on everything between Unity and Chaos.

With EW, I really enjoy all of the flashback scenes in the beginning, but when it switches over to the current, I don't really care for it.

I don't know if you are reading in order or not, but I really liked most all of the chaos effect stuff. Those stories blended well together.

Currently I'm re-reading all post Unity titles up to Chaos Effect and stopping there, and then I can read all Chaos Effect titles together in order. All I have left is H.A.R.D Corps, Turok, Psi-Lords and the Malev War stuff, and then I can start reading Chaos effect.

So I read The Visitor vs. the VU #1 and went to pull out #2 and I couldn't find it. Not sure if I ever had it. :!:

Hoping they have it at the comic shop on Wed.

400yrs wrote:Timewalker #1 - This issue was not good.

6/15 - 6/18 - 8 issues read (400)
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter # 17 6/5/6/6 Jurassic Politics 3 parter by Bedard. This was good.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter # 18 6/5/6/6 Jurassic Politics 3 parter by Bedard. This was good.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter # 19 6/6/6/6 Jurassic Politics 3 parter by Bedard. This was good. I liked the colors.
Geomancer # 1 6/6/6/6 Read EW 27 first. some exposition on Clay McHenry's past - bad cop. The colors were too dark and hurt some of the pencils. The concept of Geomancer regeneration introduced - Clay buried after he is injured by zombies
Geomancer # 2 6/6/7/6 Geoff regenerated when he was a little boy. Clay tells off Gilad. Nice panel layouts by Rags
Armorines # 6 4/5/4/4 guest starring X-O. Calafiore draws awesome armor and spider aliens, but the faces are rough.
Armorines # 7 3/6/3/3 guest starring x-o. free people stuck in pods for years.
Magnus Robot Fighter # 42 5/5/5/5 Brother vs. brother.

6/19 - 6/ - 6/25/11 23 issues (423)
Magnus Robot Fighter Yearbook # 1 3/4/3/3
Magnus Robot Fighter # 43 5/5/5/5 - The Geomancer Quest 1/4
Magnus Robot Fighter # 44 5/5/5/5 - The Geomancer Quest 2/4
Magnus Robot Fighter # 45 5/5/5/5 - The Geomancer Quest 3/4
Magnus Robot Fighter # 46 5/5/5/5 - The Geomancer Quest 4/4
Torque goes to find Armstrong who hasn't been seen in centuries. Magnus returns and the Immortal Enemy takes him over. A man named Bozzi finds a hurt Torque. He ends up being Armstrong.
Eternal Warrior # 27 6/6/6/6 Gilad return after CE to find out Gilad, Aram and Armstrong are gone. He searches Geoff's family for a new goemancer. Elyot Zorn, a cousin, is crazy and wants the book.
Eternal Warrior # 28 5/5/5/5 Immortal War 1/4 - Couldn't they think of a different enemy for Gilad?
Eternal Warrior # 29 5/5/5/5 Immortal War 2/4 - There were some art problems in these. Some panels, you can't really see understand what happened.
Eternal Warrior # 30 5/5/5/5 Immortal War 3/4 - Some of the panel layouts are cool. coloring is bit noirish.
Eternal Warrior # 31 4/5/4/4 Immortal War 4/4 - Gilad gets the idea to take him to Antarctica to freeze him. How original. Why didn't he think of this before?
Harbinger # 35 7/6/7/7 No Tomorrow 1/3
Harbinger # 36 7/6/7/7 No Tomorrow 2/3
Harbinger # 37 6/5/6/6 No Tomorrow 3/3
- This story focused on Faith and what happened right after the battle b/n Pete and Harada and how Faith "forgot" everything. It did a good job of pulling together some things that just didn't make sense. That was the first issue. The second issue featured Magnus and the origin of Faith. Magnus must've just gotten done with CE???? Faith's mother and father were both deemed to be "breeders" so they were matched by the Harbinger foundation and worked for them the whole time. Her father is dead. Faith learns that she is to destroy Harada's shuttle thingy.

The first two issues pencilled by Chen were very good. The last issue's art was ok.

Although I liked these, I don't get 2 things - 1. why did Harada want a shuttle? 2. Did the Harby kids attack Pete like they wrote in this issue or was that just a writing mechanism to explain why the big showdown happened? I didn't think that bit was necessary. Maybe it did happen and I don't remember.

H.A.R.D. Corps # 24 5/5/5/5 A good done in one story. A boxer named Ironhead Abdul is told to throw a fight. He doesn't and is slipped something to put him in a coma. He becomes a HC and seeks revenge. He is dead by the end of the issue.
H.A.R.D. Corps # 25 5/3/5/5 Team goes after a harby, Earl Simkus, who is dangerous and Heydrich wants killed. Is heydrich harada's bro? The eyes are drawn terrible.
H.A.R.D. Corps # 26 6/5/6/6 team learns truth about Heydrich - they weren't in comas, were injured further at heydrich's request. Omen board turns on Heydrich. He gets a new member, grasshopper, to assasinate a member.
Ninjak # 9 2/4/2/2 Ninjak fights some dogs
Ninjak # 10 1/4/1/1 Holy crap this was wordy and bad. Vs russians or something. If you are going to make a crappy comic, make it a quick read, please.
Psi-Lords #4 3/5/3/3 Ravenrock returning to kick *SQUEE*. The art is soft in these b/c of the Valiant Vision, but I like it.
Psi-Lords #5 4/5/4/4 Ravenrock. This has a very Star Wars feel to it.
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 12 3/4/3/3 Hwen figures out how to make himself solid for several hours.
PSI-Lords # 6 2/4/2/2 vs. Frogs. Yay!
PSI-Lords # 7 2/4/2/2 vs. Frogs. Yay!

6/26 -7/2 6 issues (429)
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 13 5/5/5/5 relationship squabbles with ex boyfriend.
Secret Weapons # 14 -/-/-/- I read this, but don't remember anything about it. It wasn't good though.
Secret Weapons # 15 2/5/2/2 the creators of the suits want them back. There are a few nice pages in here
X-O Manowar # 34 5/5/5/5 Vengeance Trail 1/3 Agannon took over Skammers after Aric abandoned them.
X-O Manowar # 35 5/5/5/5 VT 2/3
X-O Manowar # 36 5/5/5/5 VT 3/3 Aric takes back rule of Skammers

7/3 -7/9 6 issues (435)

Bloodshot # 21 5/5/5/5 vs Ax
Bloodshot # 22 5/5/5/5 vs Immortal Enemy's mercenaries
Bloodshot # 235/5/5/5 vs Immortal Enemy's mercenaries
X-O Manowar # 1/2 3/5/3/3 This sets up the Wolfbridge story, but it didn't feel completely X-O ish
Ninjak # 11 5/5/5/5 Abnett and Lanning - The first Ninjak book I didn't skim.
Ninjak # 12 3/5/3/3 This one wasn't as good.

7/10 - 7/28/11 17 issues (452)
Rai # 27 5/5/5/5 Obadiah earns the blood and a bit of respect from Spylocke. Takashi is going nuts and strenthening the armor after killing his mother.
Rai # 28 4/5/4/4 Bro vs Bro. Obadiah kills? Takashi?
Harbinger Files # 2 2/4/2/2 Mystery guy (sting) becomes Harada's secret weapon. How? It doesn't matter, I guess..... stoopid storytelling.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 39 4/4/4/4 Phil decides to take down nuke facilities again. Destroyer finds a place without laws he can patrol.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 40 2/4/2/2 Gayle helps get rid of bad Phil. Retread by Van Hook.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 41 2/4/2/2 Harada needs Solar to fix a space ship.
Rai # 29 2/5/2/2 Former Rai Rentaro Nakadai shows up
Shadowman # 30 6/7/7/6 Back from CE, home is destroyed, sax stolen
Rai # 30 3/5/3/3 Love - Spylocke, Rai, Mother Nike all in love.
Destroyer # 0 5/5/5/5 Destroyer takes lead of Tritan, Neptune's largest moon, full of cast offs.
Ninjak Yearbook 3/8/4/5 Hitch art is nice, but there are problems with some of the page layouts making it confusing to read in spots. Silk selling red mercury. plot foiled.
Shadowman # 31 7/8/10/8 Jack gets his sax back after playing it for the pawn shop guy. Vs. Anton Quigley (Darque's night monster). He absorbs Jack. He has absorbed many old people. Brilliant page layouts in this.
Shadowman # 32 7/8/9/8 Still inside Quigley with many others including crazy assed Baron Zastrow. Sandria kisses Quigley and drives him nuts.
Shadowman # 33 7/8/10/8 Sandria and Zastrow team up to create a gator monster that devours Quigley. Sandria's boy toy James dies and Sandria plans to bring him back. Nettie was made young and is trying to restore her old age to get her power back. Gangster Luis Rojas shows up with the intention of taking the island in the bayou and young Nettie while he's at it.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 42 3/4/3/3 vs The servants of Master Darque who seek phil to bring Darque back. Phil and Gayle go on vacation.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 43 3/4/3/3 vs The servants of Master Darque who seek phil to bring Darque back. Phil and Gayle go on vacation.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 44 8/5/5/8 by Christopher Priest. This craps all over the Phil Seleski character, but the story itself is really good. Phil never sleeps so what does he do while Gayle is asleep? A second life as a cop named Phil Miller with a lady named Brenda. Gayle knows.

7/29/11 - 8/11/2011 22 issues (474)
Solar, Man of the Atom # 45 5/5/5/5 Brenda (Phil's second woman) confronts Gayle and tells her everything. This one was a bit disjointed for sure. You can tell the story was chopped.
Geomancer # 3 3/3/3/3 Clay goes to Egypt and encounters necromantic power.
Geomancer # 4 3/3/3/3 Fights cousin Elyot Zorn who has the ability, but he wasn't a pure soul.
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 14 3/4/3/3 Haunted house
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 15 3/4/3/3 Haunted house
X-O Manowar # 37 4/5/4/4 Wolfbridge Affair 4 parter. This could've been one issue.
X-O Manowar # 38
X-O Manowar # 39
X-O Manowar # 40
X-O Manowar # 41 5/6/5/5 Aftermath. Randy don't want none of that! This almost could've been the whole wolfbridge story
X-O Manowar # 42 5/5/5/5 vs shadowman
Shadowman Yearbook # 1
Shadowman # 34 - Amazing! I'll go back and read SM as one run in a while.
Shadowman # 35
Shadowman # 36

November 2011: (476)
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter # 20 5/5/5/5 Chichak escapes.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter # 21 4/2/2/2 This was not good.

July 2012 (495):
Eternal Warrior # 32 4/4/4/4 Gil vs Gang
Eternal Warrior # 33 4/4/4/4 "Mortal Kin 1/3" - EW's daughter was Jack the Ripper. Another son, Durant, kills Gil's GFs in current times.
Eternal Warrior # 34 4/5/5/4 "Mortal Kin 2/3" - "I always have to kill my children" - Gil's kids are always bad b/c of his immortal nature. Gil gets armed cut off by train
Eternal Warrior # 35 4/5/5/4 - "Mortal Kin 3/3" - Gil kills Durant and the daughter from the past.

Timewalker # 2 5/6/6/5 - Ivar wants to stop the Charge of the Light Brigade so the poem won't be written. He ends up being the one who instigated it.
Eternal Warrior Yearbook # 2 5/5/5/5 - Gil's kids are born to kill and to hate. One child in late 1600s was born and ended up being the Immortal Enemy. He becomes a plundering pirate and Gil kills him.
Armorines # 8 2/4/4/2 I have no idea what this title has to do with Valiant. And it's bad.
Armorines # 9 2/4/4/2 President Clinton is in this one
Bloodshot # 24 2/4/4/2 Guest starring Geomancer
Secret Weapons # 16 -/-/-/- I read these, but I don't remember anything about them. Dr. Silk. Must've sucked.
Secret Weapons # 17 -/-/-/- I read these, but I don't remember anything about them. Must've sucked.
Secret Weapons # 18 -/-/-/- I read these, but I don't remember anything about them. Ninjak. Must've sucked.
Secrets of the Valiant Universe # 3 6/6/6/6 Sho Sugino, a bum who lived in sewers was chosen by Grandmother to be her champion to go to the lost land and recover the blood of heroes from the UAG (united anti grannies). He did so, then Grandmother banished him to the lost land and chose the Nakadai line to be her champions since they were of better blood. Sugino went on to fight for mother god in the lost land, but always wanted to get back home to serve justice to grandmother.
Bloodshot # 25 1/5/5/2 Uzi the clown and Alligators. WTF VanHook?
Bloodshot # 26 1/5/5/2 Uzi the clown and Alligators. WTF VanHook?
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 16 3/5/3/3 Deathsmith is kind of cool except for the way he talks.
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 17 3/5/3/3 Deathsmith is kind of cool except for the way he talks.
Second Life of Dr Mirage # 18 3/5/3/3 Deathsmith is kind of cool except for the way he talks.
PSI-Lords # 8 I read this, but I don't remember much about it.

September 2012:
Ninjak # 13 4/4/4/4 One and done featuring another brit operative
Ninjak # 14 & 15 5/5/5/5 Cry Wolf 2 parter. White wolf (a Sabretooth clone) seeks revenge on Ninjak for the death of his son. Not bad, but it's hard for black ops stories from this period not to be dated.
Solar, Man of the Atom # 46, 47, 48 2/3/3/2 Dan Jurgens takes over and this is a completely different book. Solar is a god and there is a super human team trying to find him (Flashpoint) that works for the US govt. The VP was killed and so was the president. Craptacular.
Magnus Robot Fighter # 47 & 48 3/3/3/3 Poofy haired Magnus hates on some robots who took Leeja. There are some huge eyebrows in this book!
Geomancer # 5 & 6 4/4/4/4 Geo vs crooked cops. I liked the intros with Hoan of Arc being a Geomancer and the Indian intro
Visitor vs Valiant Universe # 1 4/4/4/4 Alien arrives. Hero? Menace? No one Knows!!
Armorines # 10, 11, 12 5/5/4/5 Cuban Connection 1&2 and last issue - Fidel Castro in comics. I liked the dinner scene because of the Cuban-ness of life. Conyo! Gunny was blackmailed into leaving the armorines.
