I actually liked it for about the first half of the series, but yeah, it was truly horrible at the end.

The first half was fine. The end was almost unreadable.

I think the end was as bad as it could have been.

To say that is it Terrible is giving a
bad name to things that are Terrible.

Cue barf emoitcon.

So this question is for those of you who have finished other series. Is this the worst ending to any series in the Valiant universe, or is there worse to come? I've heard a lot of talk about X-O....

X-O's ending is not as bad as HARD Corps' ending. I would put Punx just a notch below the end run of HARD Corps but at least Punx was short.

X-O's is close, as well as the Keith Giffen Magnus issues as well, IMO.

I remember picking up Hard Corps #1 at the comic shop and it being one of my favorite titles there for awhile. I stopped following it around #17 but have since aquired the rest of the run.

I've been meaning to read that run but I keep putting it off due to all of the negative things I keep hearing about it.

It started off with some promise, but the characters never really developed into much and the stories were not exactly stellar.

I do like the concept and I hope VEI can make better use of the characters in the new universe. It just didn't happen the first time around though.

HC is something which doesn't deserve a standalone title. It is best used as a background concept, I think.

YMMV. I know my opinion is the minority one, but I really enjoyed Giffen's take on Magnus.

I enjoyed too. I am not sure it would have worked but it was interesting to see him try something to fix issues from before and return Magnus to being Magnus.

Definitely. Same goes for Armorines, Psi-Lords, Geomancer and Dr. Mirage.

I think my IQ dropped 3 points per issue over the last ten :D , so read at your own risk. Welcome to the board by the way. :thumb:

Thanks, I just finished ##30 a few minutes ago and I don't know that you could really call it an ending. Did these guys show up anywhere else after this?

Also, which series should I hit next? I think I'd like to get Armorines and Psi-Lords out of the way soon.

Maybe read some Pre-Unity for a change and stop torturing yourself.
