Re-Reading: X-O Manowar/Iron Man

I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do

For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.

Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.

Wrong cover btw.

Ok, is this a Valiant book? It is made to be confusing, so that might be excused. It only has minor villains, except the spider aliens, who are not made interesting. And we don't get to see anything interesting from Aric. It might be an important book in the fabric of the new Acclaim universe, but not even that is certain, as they made several different explanations for the parallel universi. An interesting oddity, but all and all a "so what" book.

When I first saw this book I was excited about it. What's inside though is pretty much a disappointment.

I meant "in spirit". As in being based on a good solid story within a clear continuity and similar aspects. Didn't mean to say it shouldn't be in the rereading or in the guide. Now that we talk about it I could mention that the other half of the cross-over was officially published by Marvel. Not that that matters for rereading.

Same here.
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

If you gave Aric hugs and kisses, would it be XOXO X-O?
