Thor vs. Batman
Everyone give your opinions! Me and my son are arguing over this and I need reasons! Not telling you who I choose, want your raw comments. I asked JS too and will post it here.

Re: Thor vs. Batman
Im i huge Batman fan, but..... GOD VS MAN.... gotta pick the god.
Unless....
Bruce Wayne pays everyone in the world not to pray to Thor.
No worshipers equals death to any god.
Of course the Joker would then become the high priest of the church of Thor, just for spite.
Then Loki would help Batman.
Then in the middle of the battle Thor and Batman would team up against the Joker and Loki.
Then Batman would buy a tapas restaurant so they could eat in private after the battle.
And Harley Quinn and Deadpool have to be on the variant covers even though they aren't in the story.

Re: Thor vs. Batman
I though the answer is always, "if Batman has time to plan, then batman."

Re: Thor vs. Batman
Dear Joe,
Could I write a story in which Batman finds a way to overcome Thor? Yes. But in almost every scenario one can imagine Thor wins by virtue of overwhelming power.
That's what I think.
Be well,
Jim

Re: Thor vs. Batman
I defer to JS as my moral compass with things like this so I have to agree.
Previously, he said no one beats Superman. But Batman does a few times. But no- Thor is Marvel's Superman... plus the hammer!

Re: Thor vs. Batman
AK replies, in favor of Batman:
Not necessarily.
Shooter admits that Batman could be Thor--he says he could write a story in which it happens.
There's a logic to comics all its own. And, using that logic, Batman can defeat not just anyone, but EVERYONE.
Batman's power is to never lose when it counts.
Bats has armor, gauntlets, Apokolips technology at his disposal. He reverse engineered Green Lantern's ring. Bats avoided Darkseid's Omega Beams, the only being to ever do so. That's what he does. All the *SQUEE* time.
Thor gets fatigued and needs to sleep. He is unable to destroy Ultron because it's made of adamantium. He's not all-powerful--he's been beaten by the Hulk, by the Silver Surfer, by Tony Stark, and by Victor VonDoom.
So when the guy who cannot lose fights the guy who can be beaten, the guy who cannot lose will win.

Re: Thor vs. Batman
I suggest Superman, Wolverene, Captain Marvel and Supreme trap Batman in place, then all four unleash their full power against Batman. Is Batman dead now???

Not if he had a plan in place.
Batman with a plan can't be defeated. Or so they say.

Only character that can out-plan and out-think the Bat is Thanos.

Re: Thor vs. Batman
Batman can defeat any one good or bad with enough time to plan, after all he made plans in the justice league animated movie on how to take out the whole justice league should they go bad.
It stands to reason once Thor showed up in the DC universe,Batman would make time to create a plan on how to defeat Thor should he go bad.

If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

So who has the working plans in the hero community to take down Batman if he goes bad?

A Green Lantern would catch him and create a green rocket and send him into the sun.
