Only film I can remember that has that level of distinction.
I've never heard a Louisiana accent in any movie set in Louisiana. It's typically a Georgia or Alabama accent. The closest was Farmer Fran in The Waterboy.
Yup. Louisiana truly has a dialect. It is almost unintelligible to an outside observer.
almost? :?

The main principles of King of the Hill all have accents from different parts of Texas (and beyond, like Bill and Peggy).

I was listening to an older podcast from iFanboy.com and they gave Turok #1 a good review. I don't know how much real influence they have or even how many listeners but I wish they would review VEI books more. It is pretty much all Marvel, DC and Image.

Just read Turok #2. It was not the steaming pile of crap I anticipated after reading #1. But it still wasn't good either; or mildly decent. It was just above the 'something I would use for kindling' level. That level doesn't get my money. I'm done.
