I will still be buying - but I went into the old LCS and told him that I was buying one copy - no variants, no extras, not cover price, nothing.

He paused and looked at me for a moment, and said that he'd ordered all of them already for me.

Then, he went into his pull computer info and said that he I'd wanted every variant of every Valiant...

Then he cracked up and said that he was pulling my leg. One copy, fine.

Funny guy.
Hey, look! I have a podcast!
And a Website!

If I win an argument, it doesn't mean I'm right. It means I'm a better arguer.

In addition, I'm right.

AARRRGGGGG. Don't get me started on variants, it's bad enough what VEI is doing to us with variant but at least we have fans helping each other for those like me who want to have them all. I MAY buy a sketch variant if there is one AND it would have to be either Jae Lee or Bart Sears. I love Sears and hope he does more with VEI then Dynamite, but it's going to be great seeing him draw Turok again even if it's currently only covers.

The scary thing about Dynamite is that a sketch variant isn't the rarest variant they put out. they actually do 1/25 and 1/10 variants....

Store variants? Really, who do they think they are Marvel? This really isn't needed... At least this won't be nearly as difficult as it was for people to track down all those Spiderman store variants; there were about 220 of those.

Ok, so I did go there

Seems like they continue to copy old ideas with their Magnus. Just like the Acclaim version, Dynamite's Magnus has a name that I presume is meant as a tribute to Russ Manning (just that they call him Russell Magnus while Acclaim called him Russ Magnus).

And they continue to go crazy with variants.

Not crazy about the new costume, but the first pic does a decent job at drawing Magnus at least. The second makes him look like he's a teenager and the third is just plain awful (looks more like Guy Gardner).

Do you see how much their rare variants which are not even
As rare as ther other line vAriants. Their other lines have variants
ThAt are only 35 or 50 existing and they sell for 50 to 100 bucks
Check out the 400 or 500 bucks they want on turok variants
Many of the valiant variants and even marvel only hAve about 1000
Made. The dark key variants are pretty much worth less
Than the cover price. Good luck finding suckers to pay those prices.

Dbcs I went there to look at their unity
Exclusive which I have not ordered yet.
And if you're still looking for valiant variants
Looks like midtown got most of them in recently
Minus the two I need. They even got more
Of the xo manowar #1 voice variants.
