To my recollection, none of the characters crossed over at all.

He definately didn't appear in any of the four main titles.

Only connection Occultist had to the other characters is a cover that was done in a similar style

I had read that the Occultist had absolutely nothing to do with the new line and pretty sure i read that in a dark horse book, but then people here has me convinced that wasnt the case and it was indeed meant to be part of the line, so can anyone tell me what the score is on this finally?

Also, I was told by someone whose opinion I highly respect, that the Samson book was building up nicely and had it had the chance to get another arc out, we would have seen the bigger vision Shooter had for the line.

I guess their "second part of the plan" mentioned way back in the first Occultist Letter column is turning into the "Ghost" reboot series in September. The Occultist run was a hard read to get through. One of the issues had a Gold Key style cartoon homage story page at the end of the second issue but that was all that seemed for the Gold Key connection. And then there's a continuation Occultist for the next Dark Horse Presents. I'd rather see "The Mask" get a return more than any of the others.
