It great news, even if it stories does get constrained by the new partner (as long as VEI doesn't lose majority control). I've splattered this over FB and responded to all posts I've come up on so far.

I just went to My Comic Shop and placed 1 NM copy of Bloodshot 6 into my shopping cart. I walked away for a couple of minutes to use the restroom, and when I got back, somebody snatched it up. I guarantee it was someone from this board. Haha.

This is awesome news. The best news since i heard Valiant were relaunching in 2012. I hope they allow the creative control to be held with the existing Valint crew. It's their imaginations that got Valiant to where they are now and why DMG want to invest.
I am very excited and cant wait to see how this unfolds.
Who knows, we could all be sitting on the next 'Amazing Fantasy 15'

I think its natural to feel a bit nervous and apprehensive about it - while also feeling super excited.

This is something that had to happen in order to see the company grow and thrive ... as long as the comics themselves aren't compromised ... its hard to see much downside to taking this movie/TV shot for mainstream success.

Big congrats to Dinesh and the Valiant team and all the creators that made this possible.

You guys all make great points, but am I the only one seeing valiant growing up to be like other semi-large comic book companies? I mean this really means valiant has put a mark on the comic book industry in a way that has made a film production company take notice. I'll do all the free cosplay that Valiant wants, I kinda look like Catie homes, if you use her for a movie. LOL
