I'm getting very interested in Arrow Comics with my reading of The Realm. The company did a great job of hyping their books and creating a "company feel", enough that I've been thinking I would try to put a set together. Here's my attempt at a list. First is the original Arrow Comics from the 80's, the company was revived a few times, but my interest is in the original Arrow.

Deadworld: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Graphic), 5 (Tame), 6 (Graphic), 6 (Tame), 7 (Graphic), 7 (Tame), 8 (Graphic), 8 (Tame), 9 (Graphic), 9 (Tame)
Fantastic Fanzine Vol. 1: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 (no #13 published)
Fantastic Fanzine Vol. 2: 1
Legend Lore: Tales from the Realm: 1, 2
Night Streets: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Realm, The: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Book 1 (TPB, reprints 1-4)
System 7: 1, 2, 3
Tales from the Aniverse: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Deadworld and the Realm continued with Caliber using the same numbering. Realm #13 was published by Wee Bee Comics, then went to Caliber for #14. Wee Bee was a company started up by the creator of Tales from the Aniverse. They also published The Aniverse #1 and #2 and a Deadworld Trade Paperback, reprinting Deadworld #1-7.

Next would be the books after the company was revived. I don't currently have interest in these, which I why I want to list them separately, but they are connected, so for completeness sake, I figured I would list them.

IIRC, Night Streets had two TPBs. The second one contained the unpublished #6 in it.

Found them, they were published by Caliber, which is why I missed them. Would definitely be of interest, though, especially with the formerly unpublished story. :thumb:

BTW, thanks for posting, I put a bit of effort into putting this together, including cross-referencing with several sites, so it was a little disheartening when no one commented on it. :|

hey dude, been so busy i hadnt even logged on to look at threads.

Some of the work you have done here and added to is invaluable.
More to the point you are one of the main reasons i stayed around so long, Passion and knowledge of a high magnitude.

I love the DU ~ but don't collect as many as other people.

PLus now the sticky's are all over page one. So you have to go to page two for a new info.

Not that I am complaining, but sometimes when you are doing it quick ~ I see no red light valiant sign and just move on.

Good work on this list, BrotherJ. Thanks. I've always wondered about The Realm, but have never read any. I'll have to check it out.
I just noticed Bendis wrote some of the Caliber Realm issues.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, as I haven't read my issues of the Caliber Realm series yet, but I think he only did the art for those issues of the Realm.

I will have to look at my Deadworld books. I think that there was a Deadworld Book 1 by Arrow (correction it was Caliber). It has the first issues of Deadworld in it. There is a Deadworld Book II out there somewhere but I don't have it and never seen it. I saw it on ebay a long time ago and kick myself for not picking it up.

There are Realm books (I have 1-3) too but I think they are from Caliber.

Cool site. I will have to take a look at some of the Caliber books.

I'm going to a comic shop sale the next two days. Its a huge .25 cent sale. I'll keep a eye out for Arrow and Caliber books. I am trying to finish off The Realm v2.

Last year I was able to get 80 percent of crossgen books .25 a piece.

First comic bought: Groo the Wanderer #43
Second: The Realm #1

Read it at the flea market while my dad was trying to find '84 and '85 Donruss single to complete his sets.

I went back to the comics and picked up 2-6 spending the rest of my $$$. No joke, I think this (The Realm series) is what turned me on to comics more than anything. Byebye choose your own adventure books!

Arrow was one of my favourite indys at the time and The Realm was a great B&W series. Unfortunate it died out before Daemonstorm arc could be finished :thumb:

One addition, one subtraction to the list:

Owosso Taco House Funnies #1 should be added. Missed it because neither Mile High or Lone Star has it in their inventories:

Shock and Spank: The Monkeyboys Special: 1 should be removed. According to a friend who has a copy, it was published by CFD, not Arrow. It says so right on the cover, so not sure why I added it.

Also, Korvus #0 might not deserve it's own listing, as it is a flip cover to Spank the Monkey #1. Doesn't look like it was a stand alone book.
