Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

He's got a few things going over there, but mainly Superman. He is doing a new Man of Steel mini series ala John Byrne. First issue comes our May 30th and it is a 6 issue weekly series. After that he will take over Action Comics and Superman. Action will continue with the old numbering Superman will get a new #1. All the other Superman family titles were canceled so Bendis can control that whole corner of the DCU going forward so no more Supergirl or Super Sons.

Also there is supposed to be an out of continuity line of books starring DC characters that will be curated by Bendis. I expect many of the creators on these titles will be other creators from Portland, OR who are friends with Bendis.

Finally there is the return of the Jinx imprint which DC will now publish that will be for Bendis's creator owned titles. He has said that he has another volume of Scarlet ready to go and another volume of United States of Murder is already completed.

I think he will also write a story for Action Comics #1000 as well.

I'm not 100% sure on this but Action Comics #1000 is not his first work for DC. I THINK he wrote and drew a story in one of the Batman: Black and White mini-series that was an homage to Citizen Kane, but don't hold me to it.

While it is true that Action Comics #1000 is not his first DC work. It is his first DC work that is in continuity. As Cyberstrike mentioned he did do a previous Batman story, though it was in Batman Chronicles and not in Batman Black and White. It would have fit well into Batman BW though as it was indeed a black & white story and not in continuity. "Citizen Wayne" is only 6 pages and ends with us finding out that the gun that killed Bruce's parents was named Rosebud, so Citizen Wayne indeed!.
