Bringing Alignment to the Indieverse
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sh ... escription" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A Kickstarter for those who were burned in the past by less than trustworthy publishers. It’s already fully funded, but is still open until July 1.
The Globalists sounds like an interesting concept.
American Dreams is Captain America in the 1920s. Could be interesting depending on where they take the concept.
CHESS is your standard 90s flashback government strike force...but the art looks pretty good.

Backed it.
I backed Powerverse by Vince White previously (and have still not received that book) so I can see where the problem triggering this new kickstarter lies.

Yeah, it’s a shame this stuff happens. Cool that for $1 plus shipping you can get the book(s) you previously backed.leonmallett wrote:Backed it.

Re: Bringing Alignment to the Indieverse
As an observer (I didn't back any of the books covered by this KS) I think that is gracious offer by Short Fuse Media, especially as the original project lead seems to have left them high and dry for whatever reasons.BugsySig wrote:Yeah, it’s a shame this stuff happens. I’d probably do the $50 pledge, get all the books in print and PDF and the T-shirt.ironherc wrote:I am interested in some of this books, though i don't know what pledge to pick. which one did you guys chose?

The print books; I avoid anything non-print related in projects like this from the USA since print materials are UK customs charges exempt (for now) while t-shirts etc. are not.ironherc wrote:I am interested in some of this books, though i don't know what pledge to pick. which one did you guys chose?

Globalist does sound like an interesting concept. Kind of reminds me of The Authority.
But what I really want to know is what is a "Vegan Warrior".

i really want to have my own costume figure too. but 130 is something i can spend on, but i'm saving money for a convention in a few weeks that i'm going all 4 days hotel and stuff. But if I could have my all time favorite OC made into a figure, that would be rad as hell.

Re: Bringing Alignment to the Indieverse
so i saw that if i do get the figure, i only get pdfs of the books that i want and that's a no no for me.
So i might get all 3 and vegan warrior is actually available to buy elsewhere so i might do that

Re: Bringing Alignment to the Indieverse
backed at the last second, got all physical copies of the 3 and the extra 2.
they didn't ask me for a address so that has me worried. Will they ship at the address of the card or what?

You should have now had the survey to complete.ironherc wrote:backed at the last second, got all physical copies of the 3 and the extra 2.

Re: Bringing Alignment to the Indieverse
the books arrived already and in my opinion:
Chess was alright but nothing to write home about, the issue should had been focused more on this team
American Dream is actually the most interesting. like the setting and how the powers come from cthulu mythos
The globalist can easily get better and if only the art from the cover was on the main book.
