Whilst not a lot happened I actually liked this issue. The art was great and I dug the HW2 tie in aspect, especially as it wasn’t overt.

Some nice l brotherly bonding here which could set the tone for the series as it moves away from the slapstick comedy into more serious territory.

I think that this has been my favourite issue of Quantum and Woody from this run.

The story is simple, and somehow manages to sum the characters up perfectly.

It is also a great bookend to the characters relationships with each other.

I am slightly disappointed that this is not the final issue of the run. Does that sound odd?

I thought this was a solid one shot from new writer Rahul. Kibblesmith has written the best Q&W so far IMO, amusing but not too goofy and although this issue was a little more serious from Rahul I was completely fine with it. This series continues to hold my interest which is a pleasant surprise.

4/5

I predict Hamiltron will dig this book, not be blown away but will give it a thumbs up! :hm:

Probably one of my favorite Q&W issues ever. I guess I prefer a little more serious tone, with just a little humor thrown in here and there.

Okay, so I read the issue... Dallowspicer is pretty close in his prediction. Not blown away, but not a bad issue. It's a marked shift in tone for these characters, which suited the overall subject matter of the issue but was a bit jarring.

It still didn't do anything to really make me a fan of these characters though. I cannot bring myself to care what happens with these guys. If it wasn't for OTV/VCR, I probably wouldn't read this comic at all.
