I really like this book, story and art are always top-notch. And it's an interesting foray into a different genre and time period for Valiant.
But the title needs to be rectified -- unless every arc is going to somehow wind up in Britannia. If not, the sooner the better.

Maybe the long-term plans fo the series will lead Axia back to Britannia after the current mini-series. I trust that Valiant always had long-term plans for this character, so I'd assume it's called Britannia for a reason.jmatt wrote:I really like this book, story and art are always top-notch. I'm assuming if it meets with success, there will be more.

This series pretty much reminds me of the tv shows Spartacus and Rome but with supernatural stuff happening which isn't bad at all.

I thought it was a good opening issue to a new story with Axia. Killer art as always from Ryp. Looking forward to seeing any further subtle connections to the greater Valiant world this time around. And wondering how important this new gladiator character will become!
