Kindt has a habit of that, building a good conflict in issues #1 - 3 and then wrapping everything up lickedy-split in #4. This issue could have used another 7 pages to flesh that out.

I wanted this to be really good, was super excited with the first 3 books and tie-ins (all of them solid reads), and then... this. I don't want to be an *SQUEE* about it, but it was super-disappointing. I will prob read #0, but I don't know about Eternity. Kinda lost a bit of love for the Divinities. :(

I didn't think this was the strongest Divinity story either, yet I enjoyed it well enough overall. I think its ultimately very cool that Abram is so committed to a non-aggressive use of his abilities that he simply tries to undo damage that the others cause. He sees that violently hurling power attacks at each other is ultimately a useless gesture & just shrugs it all off.

The universe is so much vaster than any of us can comprehend - I would expect that if we were capable of tapping into it like he can, that there would be someone capable of being as altruistic as he is in the face of such power, that greater understanding would lead to seeing how petty & pointless all our earthly concerns are.

I'm looking forward to seeing the series shift in tone with the change in title to Eternity.

I dunno, Stalinverse was very cool. I'll bet #0 gives us more of what we wanted in this ish. I'm very much looking forward to that and Eternity.

The Kazmir bit was really a letdown, but maybe I'm being a wee bit "emotional" about it and therefore a jerk. :P
But honestly, it was nothing that I'd expect, and I felt extra disappointed, because I enjoyed it so much until that last issue.

One of the most out-of-the-box "comic book events" (Sovietworld) I ever read, but with such a quick, hurried ending. I really did not like this issue. Weak stuff, really weak, when it came to explain the "cleaning", i.e. making things getting back to normal.

The Escape... one-shot was way more enjoyable, imho.

It sucks because I was really hyped for this. Came out feeling this was comics, in a bad way.
When we catch up with Divinity, this lost Russian cosmonaut newly arrived on Earth with god-like powers has successfully restored the world to order after the reality-altering event known as the Stalinverse. He has to take stock of the current reality to make sure things really have been restored so in taking account of the Valiant Universe, we get an insider view of his perspective on the heroes, villains, and gods that he encounters. Because of this approach, this zero issue will contain “guest stars” like Bloodshot, Faith, Ninjak, X-O Manowar and more.

I actually would like to have the POV of regular Joe in this. Do peeps remember any of it? And what was it, after all? Some sort of collective mind trick? Gotta reread it, also.
But that timeline- did any of that happened at all?

This sounds like a job for Professor Timechart. Perhaps he'll grace us with an explanation. He's pretty good at this kind of thing.
